Alfred Whitesel

Alfred U. Whitesel, 54, of McVeytown RD , died at 9:05 am Monday, May 21 in the Lewistown Hospital.
Born Jan 19, 1919, at Nook, he was the son of Stanley B. and Grace M. Stydinger Whitesel of Mill Hall RD. He was married to the former Mildred Hann. In addition to his parents and widow he is survived by four children, three sisters, and one brother.
Mr Whitesel was a building contractor. He was a member and deacon of the Brethren In Christ Church of Ferguson Valley.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 am in the Brethren In Christ Church with Rev Darleigh Replogle and Rev Bruce Grove officiating. Interment will be made in the Mattawana Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Booth Funeral Home at McVeytown Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
