She was born on June 1, 1927, in Ridgeway, Missouri, as the 13th child of John and Estella (Parrish) Beeson. Maxine grew up in Missouri and moved with her parents and seven siblings to Chillicothe, Missouri, in 1929. She graduated from Chillicothe High School. After graduation, Maxine began her career with the telephone company in Missouri.
Maxine married Walter David Kinzler on Aug. 7, 1949, in Chillicothe. To this union, three daughters were born, Trudy, Tonda and Tracy. The couple lived in various places before settling in North Platte, where Maxine worked for the telephone company as an operator. She worked for 34 years before she retired.
After retiring from the telephone company, Maxine moved to Lewellen. There she married Jim Locke in May 1990. She worked at Marshalltown Instruments in Oshkosh and the Lisco Fish Farm.
Maxine attended Harvest Christian Fellowship, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and enjoyed fishing, quilting, gardening and canning. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a daughter and son-in-law, Trudy and Glen French; a granddaughter, Ronna French; six brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Tonda (Lonnie) Gosnell and Tracy (Bob) Heessel, both of Maxwell; four grandchildren, Brandon (Ane) Gosnell, of Maxwell, Londa (Andy) Seamann, of Maxwell, Chelsea (Chris) Schmeeckle, of Lincoln, and Kadin (Roxie) Heessel, of Maxwell; three stepgrandchildren, Nathan Heessel, of Maxwell, Wyatt Heessel and Owen Heessel; three great-grandchildren, Marlee Seamann, Baylee Seamann and Andrew Schmeeckle; brother, Glen Beeson, of Texas; and numerous other family members and friends.
