Joseph Raymond Clem, 50, who died Friday at his residence in the Sardis Springs community, was buried Sunday afternoon in the Athens Roselawn Cemetery. Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. at the Eastside Church of Christ, Rainey Funeral Home of Ardmore was in charge. Mr. Clem had been in ill health for some time.
Survivors include the widow, [Estelle Yarbrough Clem]; one son, Ronald Clem; one daughter, Mrs. Jane Elmore; his mother, Mrs. J. W. Clem; and several brothers and sisters.
