Son of Mr. M. H. Callahan who resided in Provo, Utah.

Kenneth served as a Second Lieutenant & Co-Pilot on B-25J #43-27848, 100th Bombardment Squadron, 42nd Bomber Group, 13th Air Force, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Utah County, Utah prior to the war.

Kenneth was "Killed In Action" over Mindanao, Philippines during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

He was first interred overseas and later re-interred here on April 26, 1950.

Service # O-782674

The reason he is named on a group headstone is because when soldier's were killed in close proximity to each other they were unable, at that time, to identify them separately and interred their remains together in one grave.
