He was born February 9, 1958 in Toledo to Henry and Betty Jane (Keller) Shufeldt.
Patrick was a 1976 graduate of Maumee High School.
He was a groundskeeper at Giant Oak Golf Course in Temperance, MI., which he was very proud of. He also worked for Owens Corning in the Shipping and Receiving Department for 22 years.
Patrick was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and enjoyed golfing.
A loving husband, father, and son, Patrick will be remembered for his sense of humor, free spirit and his strong love for his family and life.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Julie (Martell) Shufeldt, whom he married May 1, 1982; daughters, Lesley Ann and Lyndsey Anne; son, Jesse Allan (Lydia) Shufeldt; mother, Betty J. Shufeldt; brother, Michael (Debbie) Shufeldt; mother-in-law, Norma Martell; brother-in-law, David (Teri) Martell; many nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companion "Briggs."
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Hank Shufeldt; father-in-law, Al Martell and brother, Douglas Shufeldt.
Family and friends may visit Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison - Dardenne - Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, where funeral services will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.
