VERNON, Ala. - Madge Corrinne Pennington, 93, died Mar. 17, 2004, at Fayette Long Term Care Center. Services are today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Vernon with Kevin Devine officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon City Cemetery. Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
Miss Pennington was born Jun. 4, 1910, in Lamar County, to the late Obediah and Mary Nix Pennington. She was a retired home extension agent with Alabama Home Extension Service.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
