WASHBURN, ILL.--Alice Beatrice Sletten Ohmart, 77, of Maple Lawn Homes in Eureka died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at Eureka Hospital.
Born May 21, 1920, in Hatton, N.D., to Alfred and Bertha Basol Sletten, she married Arthur Lee Ohmart on Jan. 1, 1940, in Crawfordsville, Ind. He died April 24, 1967. One infant son, three sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter, Marsha Heimsoth of Washburn; one son, Dennis of Mackinaw; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She formerly lived in Wabash, Ind. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in LaRose.
Services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Ries-McKitrick & Newton Mortuary, Washburn Chapel. The Rev. David Reedy will officiate. Visitation will be two hours before services at the mortuary. Burial will be Friday at Falls Cemetery in Wabash. Memorials may be made to Washburn Fire and Ambulance Service, her church or Maple Lawn Homes.
