On last Friday, the wife of John Barrow, living one mile north of this place died and her body was committed to the silent tomb on Saturday, and then, still further to add grief and sorrow to the already stricken family, from the loss of a kind mother, on Sunday morning Mr. John Barrow, the husband of Mrs. Barrow, died. Thus within forty-eight hours the husband and wife have passed away, leaving truly and indeed a stricken family of children to mourn their loss. In this case we can trace only the mysterious workings of an all wise Providence. The deceased were old citizens of this township, and highly respected, good ornaments of society, strict and faithful members of the Regular Baptist church, and benevolent in all things.
