Funeral services for Henry C Cambon, a retired sugar planter, who died at his home, 1820 Broadway, on Friday, 18 Aug 1944, will be held today, 19 Aug 1944, at 9:30 am from the residence. Religious services will be conducted at Holy Name of Jesus Church with interment in St Louis Cemetery No. 3.
Mr Cambon, who was 83 years old and a native of New Orleans, died following a short illness. He attended Spring Hill college and Yale University. He was a cousin of Paul Cambon, head of a bank in France, and Maurice Cambon, former ambassador to the United States from France.
He is survived by two sons, E D Cambon and L D Cambon, and two daughters, Lucy and Rita Cambon.
