Nonagenarian Joseph Coyle Dies at Home
Joseph H Coyle, 93, of 50 Broad St., Beaver Meadows, died last night in his home.
Born in Coleraine on Aug. 23, 1878, he was a son of the late Hugh and Mary Ann Waters Coyle, and was a member of St. Mary's Church, Beaver Meadows.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a breaker repairman by the Haddock Mining Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Susan Gallagher, and a daughter, Mary, who died on Dec. 14, 1970.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the Turnbach Funeral Home, 423 W Broad St., at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, with a Mass of the Resurrection in St. Mary's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
The Rev. William S Bigos, pastor of St. Mary's will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
