Tractor Accident In Fox Kills Canyon City Man
A Canyon City man was fatally injured last Thursday, Aug. 16, when the tractor he was operating flipped over and crushed him, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
Dead at the scene was Thomas Charles Huntington, 55.
Sheriff Tom Negus reported that Huntington, who was working on a Forest Service fencing contract, apparently was taking the tractor where his vehicle was parked when it ran up on a rock ledge, then rolled over.
Huntington was reportedly killed instantly. The accident happened about 3 p.m.
