LINDA BARNES BOWLIN July 28, 1944-Nov. 26, 2009--Linda Barnes Bowlin, age 65, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2009 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville, Ky. She was born July 28, 1944 in New Castle, Ind., the daughter of the late Herbert and Frances (Neal) Barnes. She married David Bowlin, who survives. She is also survived by one son-Jason Bowlin of Monticello, Ky.; one sister-Janet Bell of Monticello, Ky.; one special nephew-Scott Bell; and one great-nephew-Myles Bell. She was employed at Wayne County Board of Education for 43 years, where she worked as a secretary at the Wayne County High School. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was an active member of Cabell Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ernest Mann officiating. Burial followed at Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Linda Bowlin was born July 28, 1944 and departed this life Wednesday, November 25, 2009 reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Frances (Neal) Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband, David Bowlin of Monticello, KY; 1 son, Jason Bowlin of Monticello, KY; and 1 sister, Janet Bell of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Linda worked for the Wayne County and was a dedicated fan of the Wayne County Cardinals.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
