Ruth G. Duncan, 88, 523B Bryan Ave. and formerly of Old Ind. 15 South, died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wabash County on July 21, 1917, to Clarence and Claudia J. (Vandergrift) Ross. She married Paul R. Duncan on Aug. 9, 1937, and he died Jan. 1, 1991.
A lifetime resident of Wabash County, she was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She attended school 11 years.
She is survived by two sons, Ray (Doris) Duncan, Muncie, and Richard Duncan, Wabash; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, three daughters, five brothers, five sisters and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel. The Rev. Phil Lake will officiate. #Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11.
