In 1902 she was married to Charles Thompson. Shortly after her marriage she joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church. At Red Rock and lived faithful to her belief the remainder of her life.
She cared for her parents until the time of their death and then made her home with her brothers. In later yrs. all of her tiime was spent in various nursing homes for her health failed rapidly. All of her life was spent in Iowa with the exception of two years, which she lived Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Charles Eddie and John and Three sisters, Annie, Edith and Eva.
Left to mourn her loss are five brothers, all living near Knowville: Fred, Corda, Loren, Burt and Will; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at Red Rock church on Thursday, Feb. 8 conducted by Rev. O.E. Barrow. Internment was in Karr Cemetery.
