Bertha, 88, 405 E. Wayne, died at 12:05 p.m., in Briarwood Manor Nursing Home.

She was a daughter to Henry and Magdalene (Schunck) Pulskamp. She married August Spieler, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, August Jr. and Luke, both Celina; six daughters, Mary Kay (Gordon) Wilson, Oxford, Betty, Albuquerque, NM, Magda (William) Niemer, Omaha, NE, Eva (Phillip) Ronsor, Santa Cruz, CA, Rose (Albert G) Albitz, Cincinnati, and Margaret (Eugene) McCarthy, Bay Village; two sisters, Rose Mary Armstrong, Celina, and Henrietta Abegglen, Oxford; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, past regent of the Daughters of Isabella Altar Rosary Society and past president of the American Legion Auxilary.

Funeral services were held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Revs. Marcellus Fortman and Robert Hunt officiating.
