CLARKSVILLE -- Funeral of Alson A. Babb, 49, formerly of Clarksville, Dallas construction worker killed in a building accident, will be held here Thursday at 2 p.m. Service at the Assembly of God Church will be conducted by the Rev. J. D. Griffiths and Jolley's Funeral Home will make burial in Madras Cemetery.
Mr. Babb was fatally injured at Grand Prairie early Tuesday, when struck by a falling piece of building material or equipment, details of the accident not having been reported here.
Son of Barnett and Flora Babb, he was born in Arkansas in September, 1908.
Besides his wife, the former Miss Eurath Burns, he leaves these children: Dennis Lee Babb, Doetha Wannell Babb, and Brenda Joyce Babb, Dallas, and Mrs. Loyce Bollard, Mount Vernon, and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. May Crafton of Whorfer, Mrs. Annie Dalby, DeKalb; Mrs. Alma Presley, Annona; Walter Babb and C. L. Babb, Clarksville; Chester Babb, Wheeler, and Morris Babb, Dallas.
