DANIEL BRION
Daniel J. Brion, age 30, of Downsville, WI, died early Thursday morning, April 4, 1996, after his trailor caught on fire.
Daniel was born Jan. 28, 1966 in Eau Claire, WI to Steven J. and Laurraine (Whalen) Verbracken Brion. He attended school at DeLong in Eau Claire and Menomonie High School and received his GED in the army. He was stationed in Korea for six months and in Fort Riley, KS for the remainder of his time in the service .
Daniel was employed at Bullfrog Fish Farm near Downsville since August 1994. He managed the area of fish production for Herbie Radmann. Daniel was also a working artist and very close to nature. He loved to read and study ancient earth religion, which was depicted in his wood carvings, writings and drawings.
He is survived by his father, Steven Brion of Eleva, WI and his mother, Laurraine of Kansas City, MO, and a twin brother, Randy E. Brion of Strum, WI , paternal grandparents, Edward and Rachel Brion of Eau Claire, maternal grandmother, Hazel Whalen of Chippewa Falls, WI and other relatives; also a special friend, Maren Rosas, of Menomonie, WI, and Herbie Radmann, his boss, and many other friends of the fish farm community and the Chippewa Valley area.
Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Whalen.
His family will meet with friends from 5-8 on Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at the Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie.
