HASTINGS - Funeral for C.E. "Tiner" Bohot, 81, Hastings, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Waurika, with the Rev. Charles McConnell and the Rev. David Hale officiating.
Mr. Bohot died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery under direction of Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika.
He was born March 17, 1928, in Oklahoma City, to Gustav and Laura Hearn Bohot. He married Bobbie Floretta Holman on Dec. 29, 1945, in Henrietta, Texas. She died July 15, 2006. He married Doris Harris Hunt on Sept. 28, 2008. He was a farmer and rancher and owned and operated Bohot Pecans. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Hastings Baptist Church. He enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. He was very active in the Hastings and Waurika communities; he never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Doris, of the home; children: Sue Bridges, and Ronnie Bohot and wife Belinda, all of Hastings; and Ricky Bohot, Duncan; two sisters: Betty Petty and Rose Harris, both of Ada; three stepchildren: Dorcha Martin, Kimberly Scott and Jason Hunt, all of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bobbie; and four sisters and six brothers.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
