On Jan. 5, 1669/70 at Duxbury, Mass., Ruth m. Rhodolphus Thacher, son of Rev. Thomas Thacher and Elizabeth Partridge of Weymouth, Mass. He would later be the first known pastor of the Congregation Church of Chilmark on the island of Martha's Vineyard, Mass. They had nine children who are outlined in their father's memorial.
