Warren E. Burt BRIDGEWATER Warren E. Burt, 82, of Bridgewater, formerly of East Bridgewater and Whitman, died Monday. November 16th in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, after a period brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Alice (Tuerck) Burt, his three daughters Susan Manning of Marshfield, Patti Paulding of Whitman, and Lisa Violette of Middleboro, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Warren is also survived by four step-children,Christine Borkowski of Duxbury, Diane Stockfleth and Richard Tuerck both of Derry, NH, and Robin Sayward of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, twelve step - grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; also two sisters, Pearl Nelson of West Bridgewater and Lorraine Barry of Brockton. He was also pre- deceased by his first wife of fortyone years, Marion (Cronin) Burt. Warren was born and brought up in Brockton, son of the late Fred and Florence (Peterson) Burt. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and Boston University. Warren was a WWII Navy veteran and worked for New England Life Insurance Company, as a treasurer until his retirement. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 8:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Internment will be private in the MA VA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday November 19th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301.
