Funeral services for Charles Emory Hill, 90, of Route 7, Box 388, Nacogdoches, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Cason-Monk Funeral Chapel. Mr. Hill died Thursday in a Nacogdoches hospital.-The Rev. M.A. Ervin, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, and the Rev. W.V. Stanaland, pastor of the Primitive Baptist Church in Appleby, will officiate. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.-Mr. Hill was born August 6, 1886 in Nacogdoches County, the son of John W. Hill and Rachel Legg Hill. He was married to Minnie Bell Simpson, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hill was a retired farmer and was a member of the Baptist Church.-Survivors include one son, Morgan Hill of Nacogdoches; two daughters, Rachel Alta Vawter and Mrs. Lois Looney, both of Nacogdoches; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.-Pallbearers will be R.B. Haney, Hugh Swanzy, Raymond Falkner, Harvey Earls, James Edwin Stephens, Opal Coats and Jody Johnson.-Cason-Monk & Co.
