Allene was the daughter of James C. and Naomi Crisler Reed.

Mrs. Hardy

Mrs. Allene Reed Hardy, 52, Town Creek, died Friday at 2:55 p.m. at Decatur General Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident three miles north of Moulton on Hwy. 157 in Lawrence County. The accident occurred Friday morning.

She was a member of the Town Creek Baptist Church, a native of Lawrence County and was employed at Lawrence County Hospital at Moulton as bookkeeper.

Services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 from Town Creek Baptist Church by Rev. T.W. Whatley. Burial will be in Moulton City Cemetery, Elliott Funeral Home directing. These arrangements are pending the arrival of a son from Vietnam and will be changed if he does not arrive by that time.

Surviving are the husband, Steve Hardy, Town Creek; a son, Victor Phillip Hardy, U.S. Air Force, Vietnam, a sister, Mrs. John Holder, Decatur; a brother, Lester Reed, Moulton; two grandchildren.

Bearers will be nephews.
