Jasper Clyde Spradling, 70, of Route 2, Huntsville, died June 2 in the Madison County Hospital. Born November 20, 1899 at Purdy, he was the son of Ray and Mary Morris Spradling, a retired farmer and a member of the Holiness Church at Purdy.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Nettie White Spradling of the home; four sons, H. C. of Fayetteville, Rex of Springdale, J. C. of San Francisco, Calif. and Jasper of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Holloway of Springdale and Mrs. Maxine Foster of Huntsville; six sisters, Mrs. Arnold Sikes and Mrs. Billy Lebow both of Springdale, Mrs. Eva Smith of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Mrs. Ellar Howell, Mrs. Denver Smith and Mrs. Jess Bolinger, all of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Alabam Church with Charles Fiant, R. L. Dixon and Morris Steele officiating. Burial was in the Alabam Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were nephews, Wilbert Howell, Clarence Howell, Bea Howell, Lee Smith, Loy Smith and Richard Lebow.
