Augusta Argenta, age 95 of Centerville formerly of Seymour, IA died Saturday evening September 15, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.

Augusta was born August 4, 1912, the daughter of George and Rebgina (Stefani) Busetto in Mystic, Iowa. She married John Angelo Argenta Jr., September 5, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. Augusta enjoyed gardening, crocheting and loved to cook. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Augusta is survived by three children, Donald (Ruth) Argenta of Moravia, Iowa, Virginia (Duane) Stark of Des Moines, Iowa, and Norma (Dean) Belloma of Centerville, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Douglas (Angela) Stark of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Kimberly (David) Moore of Bloomington, Illinois, Jeffrey (Tanya) Stark of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Crystal (Jordan) Bruntz of Baxter, Iowa, Cayla (Tim) Bergan of Atlantic, Iowa, David (Jacqueline) Belloma of Centerville, Iowa, Terry (Mindy) Belloma of Cincinnati, Iowa, and Tony (Heather) Belloma of Centerville, Iowa, and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son at birth, Jon; and siblings, George Busetto, Tony Busetto, Margaret Michelin, Angelina Pizzato, and Edith Cossolotto.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Guthridge C.PP.S. officiating. Friends may call all day Tursday with the family present from 6-8pm at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa. Burial will be in the Southlawn Cemetery, Seymour, Iowa. A memorial has been established to St. Mary's School and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
