Carmon D. Bish, 57, of 214 S. Jefferson St., died Saturday in Armstrong County Memorial Hosptial after an extended illness.
He was born on February 20, 1918, in Armstrong County, to the late Irad and Margaret (Shaffer) Bish.
He was employed as a laborer by the Kittanning Borough Street Department. Mr. Bish was a veteran of World War II, with the 278th Field Artillery Battalion of the U.S. Army, and was wounded in France. He was a member of the Pattonville Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, the former Doris J. Edwards, at home; two daughters, Mrs. George (Carol) Lysakowski of New Castle, and Mrs. Shirley Webb of West Kittanning; five brothers, three sisters and a grandson.
Burial will be in Ford City Cemetery.
