Mr. Babb had retired 15 years ago from PPG Industries in Creighton, where he was a machinist.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Kittanning, and of the MORA Club.
Born Sept. 15, 1891, in Ford City, he was the son of James F. and Malinda (Swigart) Babb.
Surviving is his wife, Beatrice (Montgomery) Babb.

Friends of Arthur E. Babb, who died May 25, 1972, are being received at the Merwin-Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning, after 7 this evening. Services will be held from the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday (May 28), with his pastor, the Rev. Jerry E. Flanigan, officiating. Burial will be made in Ford City Cemetery. Arrangements by Merwin-Kennedy.
