============
"Solomon 'left' and never came back... it took Amanda a really long time to have him declared as 'dead', even though he lived on. That is why Tracy (Broherd) was named Phillips. Broherd took care of the Phillips kids that Solomon abandoned. Tracy (Phillips) Broherd was really Roe and Amanda's son, but Amanda had not yet married him, as she had a hard time getting divorced from Solomon. The other boys lived with Broherd, but they did not change their names. I grew up with my grandmother, Chester Jr.'s daughter. Grandma kept excellent records and memoirs. I inherited a lot of her work."

"We have numerous DNA matches to a granddaughter of Tracy James Phillips or Broherd.
The only possible connection, and reinforced by numerous other "shared" DNA matches, is through our shared ancestry to Charles and Elizabeth (Myers) Phillips. My branch of the family descends from Margaret Ann (Phillips) Shoaff, eldest sister of Solomon "Saul" Phillips. This information indicates that Tracy James Phillips or Broherd was indeed the biological son of Solomon Phillips and not James Monroe Broherd."
