My Great-Great Grandmother...

Taken from her funeral program:

Mrs. Eliza Joiner, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart and Nancy Campbell. She married Phillip Gibson, they were the parents of eighteen (18) children, forty-five (45) grandchildren, seventeen (17) great-grandchildren, and eight (8) great-great grandchildren.

Friday evening, January 30, 1953, at 8:15 P.M. she slipped away peacefully.

She leaves to mourn her passing, five (5) daughters: Mrs. Leola Slater, Rosenberg, Texas, Mrs. Hallie Williams, Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Ruby Lee Hayes, Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Lillie Mae Gray, Jacksonville, Texas. Two (2) sons, Jerry Gibson, Houston, Texas, and Ernest Gibson, Seattle, Washington. She also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
