DECATUR MAN DIES TODAY
Abraham Bodle Dies This Morning AT His Home In This City

Abraham Lincoln Bodle, 73, died at 9:10 this morning at his home on Line Street. Death was due to complications and infirmities.

Mr. Bodle was born September 2, 1862 in Lincoln County, Ohio, the son of Abraham and Rachel Bodle. He moved to this city about 24 years ago. He was a member of the Church of God in this city.

Survivors other that the widow, Lydia are; two step-sons Fred and Rufus, both of Decatur; one foster daughter, Mrs. Ona Springer, of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, David, of this city; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Pierce, of Delphos, Ohio; and a half-sister, Margaret, in California.

The body was taken to the Gillig and Doan Funeral Home, and will be taken to the home on Line Street where the funeral is to be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 and 2 o'clock at the Church of God. The Rev. Louis Reynolds, assisted by Rev. Glen Marshall, pastor of the church will officiate.

Burial will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

DECATUR - March 26 - Abraham Lincoln Bodle, 73, died at his home in this city this morning. Born September 2, 1862, in Lincoln County, Ohio, (there is no Lincoln County in Ohio !), a son of Abraham and Rachel Bodle, he came to Decatur 24 years ago. Surviving are the widow, two step-sons, Fred and Rufus of Decatur; a foster daughter, Mrs. Ona Springer, Davison, Oh.; one brother, David, of Decatur; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Pierce (sic) of Delphos, Ohio, and a half-sister, Margaret in California.
