MARY AMANDA ANDERSON is my maternal Great Grandmother. Her first husband was Evans Fuller, who we presumed died at age 24, however, Evans was apparently also known as Charles F. Fuller according to his military records from the Civil War. Mary Amanda was granted widow benefits from the government in 1890 as widow of Evans and alias Charles. Not sure what this is all about. Her second marriage was to my Great Grandfather, MOSES W. MAYS on Sept. 3, 1861.
