Ollie Rhea Turner Whitaker Spence, 80, of Route 1, Draper, died Sunday morning in Radford Community Hospital as the result of injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.

Born Oct. 28, 1910 in Coeburn, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Turner and Flora Nixon Turner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Seagle Howard Spence; and one son, Charles Whitaker.

Surviving are seven children, Frankie Whitaker, Jackie Whitaker, Donald E. Whitaker and Eugene Whitaker, all of Pulaski, Kenneth Whitaker of Poplar Camp, and Betty Bowles and Leonard Whitaker, both of Dublin; five stepchildren, Carl W Spence and Dorothy L. Orren,both of Pulaski, Mary Ellen Lester of Radford, Bonnie J. Norris of Roanoke and Douglas W. Sence of Draper; two sisters, Anna Turner of Dublin and Lena Semmones of Ohio; two brothers, Harvey Turner and Lee Turner, both of Pulaski; 28 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, 17 step grandchildren, 20 step great great-grandchildren,

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Virginia Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church Headquarters, Dublin, with Rev. Quinton Hughett and Rev. Richard Ashworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Wythe County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements
