George Edward Tansil, 78, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at his home in Pascagoula. He was born November 5, 1928 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. T. W. and Mrs. Leslie Margaret Seaton Tansil, a brother, Mr. T. A. Tansil and a sister, Mrs. Peggy Bobo.

Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Jackson County Memorial Park in
Pascagoula.
