Mary Louise Green, 73, of Ashland, Ky., formerly of Sandy Hook, Ky., died Wednesday, Aug, 200, 2007 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born June 2, 1934, in Elliott County, Ky., a daughter of the late Willard Mayse and Charity Stephens Lewis.
She was a licensed beautician and a former employee of the C.H. Parsons Co. She attended Grassland Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Circle. She was former president of the Women's Society.
Surviving are two sons, James Daniel Green and his wife Debra, and David Robert Green and his wife Eva, all of Rush, Ky.; grandchildren, Crystal Claar, David Michael Green, Janell Williams, James Roger J.R. Green, Chris Green, Karen Green and Debrah Green; and great-grandchildren; Alexis Claar, Tyler Rose and Jacob Claar and soon-to-be-born Bentley.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug, 25, 2007 at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. David Herndon. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
