Jasie Henry Burk, age 47, passed away at his home at Springdale May 23 after an extended illness. He was a former resident of Kingston where his parents still reside.
Mr. Burk was born Nov. 13, 1900 at Weathers, Madison county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Burk. He was converted to the church and baptized at an early age.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Bobby and J. D., one daughter, Mrs. Faye Nash; one granddaughter, Martha Ann Hash, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Burk, Kingston; three sisters, Mrs. Cinda DuVall of Kuna, Idaho; Mrs. Ada Cline, and Mrs. Rhema , brother Willie Burk of Springdale; one half-brother, Aubrey Beard, of Corona, Calif., and many other relatives ad friends.
Funeral services were conducted May 24 at 2 p.m. at the Kingston church by Rev. Justin Knorr, assisted by a minister from Springdale. Burial was in Kingston cemetery with direction by Brashears Funeral Home.
