Alfred W. Andreucci of Kenosha passed away peacefully of natural causes at age 91 in his residence on Friday, November 27, 2009. Born in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jenny (Gallo) Andreucci. He was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, United Auto Workers retirees, and the KE-NASH-A Club. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha but he left early to support his family. A very good athlete in his youth, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines during WWII where he met and married the love of his life, Ruth Steele, in Twenty Nine Palms, California. Ruth passed away in 1970.

A proud Marine, Al served his country in the Philippines and was honorably discharged. He worked for American Motors for thirty years and was elected during that time to the executive board of the local UAW and to the Kenosha City Council as alderman. Many elected officials were familiar with his political activities and he supported a number of campaigns over the decades. He enjoyed all sporting events, especially Chicago's Bears and Cubs.

Al Andreucci is survived by a son, Joseph Andreucci of Kenosha; a sister, Florence Perrine; a sister-in-law, Josephine Andreucci; and a niece and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Suszko; a son-in-law, Richard Suszko; a sister, Theresa Covelli; and a brother, William Andreucci.

May God Bless Everyone Who Has Touched His Life.

Private graveside services with Military Honors were arranged at Kenosha's St. George Cemetery.
