ASHLEY- Helen L. Johnson 73, died at her home at 225 Wabash St. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She was born in Fremont on Dec 25, 1916 to Carl and Goldie (Smith) Straw. On March 14, 1951, she married Norbert Johnson in Angola. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Beverly Smith, one stepdaughter Norma Malcolm, one stepson Glenn Johnson, three brothers Lloyd, Clyde and Henry McEntarfer, seven sisters, Betty Timmons, Cora Mae McColkey, Wava and Phyllis Burkhalter, Katherine Hall, Marjorie Glyshaw, and Sylvia Fetch, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Geistwhite in 1983 and four brothers. Burial in Circle Cemetery Hudson.
