He was born May 9, 1919, at Silica, the son of Francis and Margaret Malone Finnin. A graduate of Sterling High School, he had been a resident of Lyons since 1976. He was a former administrator for Lockheed Aircraft, Burbank, Calif.,, and retired from Lyons Manufacturing, Lyons.
On Sept. 20, 1941, he married Vera Elliott at Burbank, Calif. She survives.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sterling Community Cemetery, with Monsignor Quentin Malone and Revs. Bob Bethell and D. D. Hall officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the Rice-Reno County Hospice or Lyons District Hospital, both in care of Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons.
