Billy Dean Adams

Miller, Mo. ------ Billy Dean Adams, 64, Miller, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at his home after a long illness. Mr. Adams was born Dec 3, 1930, at Hardtner, Kansas. He moved to Miller in 1966 from the state of Colorado. He worked as a farmer and self - employed building contractor. He was a Methodist. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He married Dorothy Marie Congdon on Dec. 27, 1953, at Aurora, Colo. She survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Barry Stephen Adams, of the home; two daughters, Brenda Gail Bradley, Everton and Dawna LaVerne Budd, Jasper; four brothers Albert Marion Adams, Alvin "Buck" Wesley Adams and Francis Raymond Adams, all of South Greenfield and Orvan Lee Adams, Miller; a sister, Dorothy Marie Byers, Arvada, Colo., and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morris - Leiman - Mosher Funeral Home, Miller. The Rev. Bob Holman and the Rev. Charles Cross will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Denver, Colo.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Missouri in care of the funeral home.
