Information has been received here by relatives and friends of Miss Hulda Kort, confirming the report that she is a war bride.

During the past year Miss Kort has been living in Colorado and while at Akron she met a young man named Omer Auten, the friendship ripening into a love affair, but the war situation interfered with their plans.

Young Auten was a member of a Colorado company and a few days before the troops were ordered to the training camp in California the young couple decided to plight their troth in bonds of matrimony. Miss Kort went to Pueblo, where her soldier lover was stationed and on Sept. 17 they were united in marriage.

The bride returned to Akron, Colo., where she is employed in the Burlington station. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kort of Blue Hill and is held in the highest esteem by a large circle of friends. Mr. Auten's home is at Akron, Colo. He is a young man of excellent character and in civilian life is a carpenter.
