Joyce Ghere, 72, Jefferson, died at 10:35 p.m. June 3, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Miss Ghere was born December 3, 1930, in Goshen to Floyd and Mabel Aughe Ghere.
She graduated from high school in Jefferson and received her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University.
Miss Ghere taught health, home economics and physical education in the Delphi community schools for 38 years. She sponsored the Girls Athletic Association in Delphi.
One sister, Betty, of Jefferson, survives. Two sisters preceded her in death.
A graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003, in Green Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Barbara Kinsler officiating.
