She was born Oct. 5, 1910, at Matthews, the daughter of James Newton and Effie Smith Brown. She and Frank R. Parsons were married June 26, 1946, in St. Louis. He died Dec. 15, 1977.
She had been a secretary at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God, and was a volunteer for 20 years at the Heritage House.
Survivors include a niece, Shirley Sensmeyer; and three nephews, Dan Gossett, E.R. "Dick" Inman and Gerald Inman. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
