Cozad resident, Ernest Bohlen, 71, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. Ernest was born July 30, 1938 in Pauline, Nebraska to Joseph & Hanna (Evans) Bohlen. He married Lorene McDermott on December 24, 1961. He worked for Monroes in Cozad, New Holland in Lexington, Paulsons Construction in Cozad, and then at South Central in Cozad. He attended Living Home Assembly of God Church. He loved to bowl and always would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He liked to travel with his family, was a hunter and sports fan.
Ernest was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Verna and Betty; brother, Glenn; son, David Ernest; and great-granddaughter, Caitlynne.
