Nancy Mae Andersen, the daughter of Edward and Lucinda (Cottongim) White, was born on January 30, 1913 south of Hardy, Nebraska in Republic County, Kansas. She passed away on December 22, 2002 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Mae graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1930. She was united in marriage to Eynner Andersen on February 11, 1931 at Belleville, Kansas and to this union was born two children, Jack and Nancy. She was very devoted to her church and taught Bible and Sunday School for many years and at one time was the church secretary. She worked at the Farmers Union Cream Station and Carmen's Style Shop and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lucinda, her husband Eynner on January 15, 1996, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her son Jack and wife Donna of Lincoln, Nebraska and daughter Nancy Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska, 8 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Three sisters, Martha Sykes of Nelson, Nebraska; Florence Haase of Central City, Nebraska and Clara Krogh of Windsor, Missouri along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Leslie Warner officiating. Music was, "Footprints," and, "I Know Who Hold Tomorrow." Carol Shambaugh was soloist and Carlita Price was the organist.

Pallbearers were Brad Johnson, Wes Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Rick Andersen, Vince Johnson and Mike Gray.

Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.

Memorials may go to the Superior First Baptist Church.
