Ella Birr of San Bernardino, was born in Boise, Idaho and lived in San Bernardino for 48 years, died Sunday at St. Bernardine Medical Center at the age of 82; the cause of death is unknown, pending a doctor's report. She was psychiatric technician at Patton State Hospital for 20 years. She leaves behind a daughter, Alice Cross of Rialto, two sons Herb Achzenick of Tustin and Jerry Hooker of Idaho, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Burial at Montecito Cemetery in Colton with Grean Acres Mortuary and Cemetery of Bloomington handling the funeral arrangements.
