Florence R. Sijan, 83, passed away on November 25, 2009, at Ridgewood Manor.
Florence was born December 9, 1925, in Toledo, the daughter of Walter and Mary Zacharewicz.
She attended the former St. Stanislaus School and Libbey High School.
Florence was an inspector 27 years for the Hilfinger Corp.
She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, was a great cook, a devout Catholic and she loved and cared for her family her whole life.
Florence is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John Sijan Sr.; son, John (Michele) Jr.; son-in-law, Richard Hagman; grandchildren, Christopher, Krysta and Murray and sisters, Lillian Kwiatkowski and Helen Honeck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Hagman; brother, Walter Zacharewicz and sisters, Rose Baranek and Mary Lesczynski.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 10 a.m. in St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. There will be no visitation.
Memorial tributes may be directed to the Priests of the Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart Monastery, Box 900, Hales Corners, WI 53130-0900.
