Obituary: Died, January 6, 1896, Mrs. Urdilla Smith, wife of L. B. Smith, Esq, of Effingham County Georgia. For upwards of twenty-five years she was a great sufferer, but she bore all with resignation and patience. She was a consistent member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. She lived in the faith, and to those left behind we can with assurance commend the comforts of the Gospel offered to those whose loved one God sees fit to call up higher. Her earthly remains lie in Bethel Cemetery to await the call of her Lord. - W.
