HOLDENVILLE - Services for John Bell, 56, Holdenville, are 10 a.m. Saturday at
Hudson-Phillips Funeral Chapel, Holdenville. Burial follows at Holdenville
Cemetery.

Mr. Bell died Oct. 9, 2002, at Ada. He was born Aug. 10, 1946, at Holdenville
to Dorothy Eddy and R.T. Bell. He was raised in Holdenville and graduated from
Holdenville High School. He earned an associate degree from Eastern State
University, Wilburton, and also attended East Central University.

Mr. Bell retired from Walker Brothers Drilling Company with 30 years of
service. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Wewoka and the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Billy Bell, of the home; two sons, Johnny Bell,
Holdenville, and Craig Bell, New Orleans, La.; a daughter, Shawnna Rhoten, Ada;
his mother, Dorothy Bell, Holdenville; and four stepchildren, Shannon
Pennington, Tecumseh, Natalie Vasquez, Ada, Sarah Henning, Seminole, and Dustin
Evans, Norman.

Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
