Documentary evidence and DNA evidence prove that this Edward Soloman Swanson is the son of Sven Petersson (1816-1864) and Maja Abrahamsdotter (1817-1891). Note: There are trees on Ancestry and elsewhere that show a different set of parents for Edward (Charles Swanson and Eva Hulberg). These trees are incorrect.

Edward married Carolina Peterson, She is the daughter of Peter Månsson and Stina Jonasdotter.
