Burial is in Garden of Memories in Elkhart, Texas with arrangements by Bailey & Foster. Mr. Douthit served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vickie Douthit Knowles; granddaughter, Rachel Curry Hickman; sister, Marie Hodges; brothers, Arthur, Ozelle Lewis and Mac Douthit.
