A Monroe County native,he was the son of the late Letcher and Jane Pedigo Centers.
Survivors include his wife,Viola Centers,Monroe Rest Home,Tompkinsville;a son,Wendell Centers of Lafayette,Tenn.,;three daughters-Clara Brown and Majorie England,both of Gamaliel,and Kathleen Turner, Mooresville, Ind.,A stepson,Joe Edd Hale,Templeton,Pa.;16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Bro. Clurie Reagan,at the Yokle-Polson Funeral Home with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
